This tool called an eyelet punch or a rampin is a single-purpose tool designed for pressing eyelets into the sidebars of frames. It is an essential tool for building frames with 100% beeswax foundation with wires.

 

The rampin is used to press the grommets or eyelets into the pre-drilled holes in the sidebars. The eyelets are used to prevent the wires from cutting into the wood when running wires.
