Our manual, wide uncapping plane is made of stainless steel and is used to help with uncapping frames when harvesting honey. The smart design allows you to draw the plan over the honey, removing the cappings as it is pulled. This has become a very popular tool for harvesting honey, along with the normal uncapping fork and knife.

This plane measures 5 inches wide so that it can be used efficiently on a medium or deep frame.

This plane has an extra-wide design so that it can remove more cappings from a frame at once. We have a narrow frame that can remove less in one pass for more control.
